(Huacho D\u00edaz Mena\/Facebook)<\/p>\n<p>In a separate event, D\u00edaz laid the cornerstone of the second building of the Distrito Arte M\u00e9rida (M\u00e9rida Art District) complex, with an investment of over 1.3 billion pesos (US $64 million).<br \/>\nResidencial Punto Maya<br \/>\nD\u00edaz, alongside Miguel Cagnasso Cant\u00fa, the director of the real estate development company Misi\u00f3n Obispado, cut the inaugural ribbon for Residencial Punto Maya, a project expected to generate more than 250 direct jobs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project represents hundreds of opportunities for our people,\u201d D\u00edaz said during his speech, highlighting the strategic location of the development. \u201cIt\u2019s just six minutes from the current beltway, but it will also be very close to the Metropolitan Beltway that we will soon build and the Maya Train.\u201d<br \/>\nD\u00edaz added that such investments demonstrate that Yucat\u00e1n is a state with legal certainty and appeal for investors.<br \/>\nM\u00e9rida Art District<\/p>\n<p>A rendering of development plans for the M\u00e9rida Art District. In a speech, he reaffirmed his administration\u2019s commitment to promoting policies that encourage productive investment, create quality jobs, and strengthen the community\u2019s economic and social fabric.<br \/>\nThe real estate project will create over 350 direct and indirect jobs and \u201cwill strengthen the entity\u2019s tourism and service infrastructure,\u201d D\u00edaz said.
