
By 2027, Nissan Motor is considering the closure of seven plants worldwide, two of which are located in Kanagawa Prefecture. This follows news that the automotive manufacturer is planning to cut a further 11,000 jobs globally after posting a US$4.5 billion net loss for the fiscal year ending in March.
