Lamp, a SaaS provider supporting takeout orders and payments in a one-stop solution, announced on May 19 that it has raised a total of ¥700 million in a Series A round. Existing investors DNX Ventures and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Capital participated in this round. This brings the total funding to ¥1 billion. The funds will be used to strengthen the product and accelerate nationwide expansion through hiring.
The company offers “TakeEats,” a SaaS that provides a one-stop solution for takeout reservations, payments, and inventory management. The order site can be customized for each store, allowing for unified management across all channels, including phone, in-store, and web.
The service significantly reduces the need for phone handling and paper order management on the store side, with some implementations reportedly reducing phone orders by up to 90%. It also features real-time inventory and delivery management to minimize errors such as miscommunication, and automatically integrates with Google Business Profile to display an “Order Online” button in search results, boosting customer acquisition. According to the release, the service has been implemented in over 2,500 stores and has processed more than 600,000 orders since its launch four years ago (as of March 2025).
The newly raised funds will be invested in revamping the mobile order UI/UX, implementing AI demand forecasting algorithms, and accelerating new hires in sales, customer service, and engineering. Additionally, the company plans to advance API integration with department stores and commercial facilities, aiming to expand its implementation to 5,000 stores annually nationwide.
